Erin O' Connor really is that tall, nick cave wears troppo tan in a can

So apres working chez Guardian fashion desk for a few weeks (mainly mind-numbing, as promised by Jess and with the fashion-desk dwellers mainly dressing like old-frumps with the exception of Hadley and Priscilla, not as promised by Jess) I pretty much wet myself with excitement when I got an email from Priscilla Kwateng, the stylist, asking me to help out with a fashion show. Organised by one of the (many) of the Freud dynasty - this one was Bella, daughter of Lucian (clearly the painter, duh) to open the Portobello film festival. Well, pretty much I was bored for ages, cos i was early, but hung with some fun Japanese hair stylists, and due to my (possibly misguided) forays into hair modelling at vidal sassoon, had some matter for conversation. Well anyway, models filtered in after a while, and then Erin arrived, she was charming, (non- ironically) and really tall. Some of the others dressers, were dickheads and really lovey (kissing Bella's kids and mwah mwah with everyone else (of significance, clearly). In any case, Bella was wicked, even if fawning wankers, were not. I was assigned to dress 'Jethro' for the catwalk show. He was sitting in the corner while the female models chatted, getting pissed and smoking. He had a safety pin though his ear, huge DM's and a leather jacket. Turned out he was fifteen, and plus Nick Cave's (as in the bad seeds) son. Felt a bit the perve for ripping off his trousers as rapidly as possible, but hey, i was working. Plus, his dad wears too much fake-bake and needs to work past the ray-ban, side burn combo.
