Les points du jour
Number one:
Catherine Townsend's column in 'the Independent' is a crime against: the public image of single women in their 20's/30's, writing, sex in general, and the circulation figures of the independent (peut-etre dwindling solely due to her shockingly-poor writing). Honey, you ain't no freakin' Carrie Bradshaw, you are B to tha O-R-I-N-G.
La deuxieme:
The trend for slightly rolled up t-shirt sleeves, originating in their current incarnation partly on the catwalk, partly in Shoreditch was killed stone - dead when Topman produced t-shirts with pre-shortened sleeves / already rolled-up sleeves. This kind of trend should be (and look) spontaneous, almost unintentional even. People who are cool will stop doing it before it ever reaches the shelves of a high-street giant.
It will be left, mere carrion meat, to the vulture Sienna Miller's (qui sont aussi comme les moutons) of the population to wear (the kind of evil person who was STILL wearing that fucking crime of a trend 'boho' this summer). That's not the Kate Moss's.
Same goes for shops layering t-shirts for you, sewing in the layers. PUrrleaaassse, dahlings, why so patronizing?
